Masks

In loving memory of Shari

by Suzi Dennis

My husband (father of my children) went to Heaven in 1979 at the age of 32.

That was hard, very hard.

But losing my daughter in 2013 to suicide was the worst possible thing that could ever happen to me.

That was almost ten years ago and even though I went through the “Valley of the shadow”, I have survived.

I had to take off my mask to get here.

I had to trust Jesus to show me the way out.

I hope my story will help anyone walking through that valley.

I did this audio three years ago but it still rings true for me today.

God bless,

Suzi

Suzi is an artist, she exclaims:

“I celebrate God’s gift of Life through my art and if it touches your heart and also happens to match the couch, great !”

You can check out her site here:  www.suzisart.com  You can learn to make your own Journey Journal. While you’re at her site, read her story of how she discovered healing through making these journals.

“I had just ventured out into making handmade journals when, on March 11, 2013, my daughter passed from this earth to be in heaven. She was 47 years old. I had her when I was 18. She was my life.

My life stopped. My art stopped. My studio went dark and I didn’t care.

I am finding in making these journals, her presence in each one, that is what has helped in my journey of healing. I’ve poured my heart and soul into them and a little piece of me and a little piece of her are in each one.”
